Honored coach of the USSR in figure skating, judge of the Ice Age show on Channel One, Tatyana Tarasova, missed the shooting of the final episode of the program due to health problems. This was reported by Gazeta.Ru.
The host of the project, Olympic champion Alexei Yagudin said that Tarasova was not feeling well. He expressed the hope that the coach will soon return to filming.
“Tatyana Anatolyevna, we are worried about you, we love you very much and wish you return to our project,” said the skater.
Instead of Tarasova, actor Daniil Spivakovsky was invited as a judge.
In December last year, Tarasova said that, because of her condition, she was forced to refuse an offer that had been received to go to the Russian championship in Chelyabinsk. The coach noted that she would like to comment on some of the competitions from home if the equipment is set up for her.
Under the leadership of Tarasova, Soviet and Russian figure skaters won gold medals of the Olympic Games seven times. Since 2005, the coach has been combining coaching activities with the work of a commentator on television.
