Fitness expert Eduard Kanevsky spoke about options for street training in winter. His words are quoted by Moscow 24.

Kanevsky said that even in cold weather you can continue to run. “Only for this you will need special off-road sneakers. Their characteristic feature is a dense, waterproof and heat-retaining fabric, as well as a special anti-slip sole that does not harden in the cold,” he noted.

Kanevsky also suggested riding a bicycle, having previously changed the tires to winter ones. “It’s also important to treat the bike’s chain and sprockets with a special lubricant,” the coach added.

However, according to the trainer, at temperatures below minus 20 degrees it is worth limiting street training. He explained that this can have a negative impact on the throat and lungs.

Previously, doctor Mikhail Ignatov listed signals for stopping training. He stated that it is necessary to refrain from performing exercises in case of discomfort, pain, as well as blurred vision and sleep disturbances.
