Panarin surpasses Gretzky’s record for home games with points since the start of the NHL season
Russian forward of the New York Rangers Artemi Panarin has surpassed Wayne Gretzky’s record in the National Hockey League (NHL). This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.
Panarin’s assist helped the Rangers beat the Los Angeles Kings in the regular season match (4:1). The Russian extended his streak of home games with points from the start of the season to 11. Thus, he surpassed Gretzky’s record.
Panarin played 26 matches in the regular season this season. The Russian scored 16 goals and made 22 assists.
Previously, NHL Network included Panarin in the top 50 best active NHL players. The striker, who has been with Rangers since 2019, is 32nd on the list. His current contract with the team runs until 2026.
