“Dynamo” and “Fakel” tied with a score of 1:1 in the RPL match
“Dynamo” missed the victory over “Fakel” in the match of the 18th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.
The meeting took place in Voronezh and ended in a draw with a score of 1:1. The first to hit the opponents’ goal was Muscovites striker Yaroslav Gladyshev. Forward Maxim Maximov saved the hosts from defeat by converting a penalty in the 79th minute.
Dynamo goalkeeper Anton Shunin played his 359th match as part of the capital team. In terms of the number of games for the club, he surpassed the legendary goalkeeper Lev Yashin, who defended the blue and white colors in 358 meetings.
Dynamo extended its unbeaten streak in the RPL to nine matches. The team is in third place in the standings with 32 points. Fakel has 21 points and 11th place in the table.
The 18th round of the RPL will be the last before the winter break. The tournament will resume in March.
