Alexei Miranchuk’s agent Shpinev said that the footballer will not move to Lokomotiv
Vadim Shpinev, agent of Russian Atalanta midfielder Alexei Miranchuk, answered a question about the player’s future. His words are quoted by Metaratings.
Shpinev ruled out the footballer’s return to Lokomotiv. “I have no doubts about Alexey, he will be fine. We need to finish December and in January, I think there will be a transition. We are looking towards Europe,” he said.
On December 9, Miranchuk scored his first effective action in the 2023/2024 season. The Russian made an assist in the 15th round match of the Italian Championship against Milan (3:2).
This season, the midfielder has taken part in nine matches in all competitions. The Russian joined Atalanta in September 2020, signing a four-year contract.
Miranchuk is a graduate of Lokomotiv. His brother Anton Miranchuk plays in the capital team.
