A swimmer who left Russia won two golds at the European Championships

Swimmer of the French national team Kirpichnikova won two gold medals at the European Championships

Swimmer Anastasia Kirpichnikova, who left Russia, won two golds at the European Short Course Championships as part of the French team. The results are available on the competition website.

The tournament takes place in Romania. The athlete won medals in the 800 and 1500 meters freestyle.

Kirpichnikova’s change of sports citizenship became known on April 21. Then she announced her desire to bring medals to the new team.

The athlete has been training in France for five years. The swimmer has a chance to take part in the 2023 World Championships and the 2024 Olympic Games as part of the European team.

23-year-old Kirpichnikova is a three-time European champion in short course swimming as part of the Russian national team. She also has a silver medal at the World Championships.
