Hockey player Menell said that propaganda makes Americans and Russians enemies
American defender of Dynamo Moscow Brennan Menell explained the contradictions between the USA and Russia. His words are quoted by Bookmakers Rating.
“There is a lot of propaganda, misunderstandings and stereotypes in the world that make people enemies. Russians don’t understand Americans, and Americans don’t understand Russians,” said the hockey player. He emphasized that the citizens of the two countries have much in common and called Russia and the United States great powers.
Menell received a Russian passport on August 1. He has been playing for the capital club since September 2022.
In the 2020/2021 season, the hockey player played in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) for Dynamo Minsk, after which he left Russia for a year. The defenseman spent most of his career in the American Hockey League, representing teams such as the Iowa Wild, Toronto Marlies and Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
