Hockey player Buchnevich said he feels at home in a Russian bathhouse in New York
Russian St. Louis Blues striker Pavel Buchnevich spoke about living in New York while playing for the New York Rangers. His words are quoted by Sport Express.
“I constantly went to Brooklyn to a Russian bathhouse like Sandunov – but it’s not in Brighton. And the food there is good. You walk in and there’s such a three-story mat! You immediately feel at home,” he said. The hockey player added that he does not miss New York because of the high prices and long commutes.
This season in the National Hockey League (NHL), Buchnevich played 23 matches, in which he scored nine goals and ten assists. The forward has been playing in the NHL since 2016. Until 2021, he represented the New York Rangers.
Earlier, Russian Detroit Red Wings player Klim Kostin spoke about the problems of adaptation in the United States. “Without knowing the language, I was depressed and shed a lot of tears,” the athlete noted.
