Rostov coach Karpin was disqualified for two matches for speaking about morons
Rostov head coach Valery Karpin was punished for criticizing the decision to hold the match of the 17th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL) against CSKA Moscow in heavy snow. RB Sport reports this.
The Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union decided to disqualify Karpin for two matches, one of which is suspended.
On December 3, Karpin criticized the holding of the match in heavy snow. “Ask the person who decided to play football. You have to be a moron to play in this weather,” he said.
The meeting between CSKA and Rostov was in jeopardy due to the snowfall that covered the capital, but the refereeing team decided to hold the game. The match ended in victory for the hosts with a score of 2:0. Fedor Chalov and Victor Mendez scored goals.
