Brazilian UFC Lightweight Champion Charles Oliveira in Twitter responded to Irish mixed martial artist (MMA) Conor McGregor, who offered him a fight.
The athlete agreed to McGregor’s challenge, offering to meet next weekend. “I am ready, I am still in the city, and we have an event planned. Come on, baby, ”wrote Oliveira.
On December 13, McGregor made it clear that he intends to fight the Brazilian. He demanded a title fight with Oliveira, who defended his belt on December 12. The Brazilian defeated American challenger Dustin Poirier ahead of schedule, using a choke hold.
McGregor was injured in his third fight against Poirier in July of this year. At the end of the first round, the Irishman broke his leg. McGregor’s return is expected in the spring of 2022.
McGregor became the UFC champion in two weight classes. He has only 22 wins and six defeats.
