Nashville coach Brunette condemned Kaprizov for hitting defender Carrier in the head

Nashville Predators head coach Andrew Brunette criticized Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov for a power move in a regular season match of the National Hockey League (NHL). His words are quoted on social network X by journalist Robbie Stanley.

Brunette condemned Kaprizov for his technique against Nashville defender Alexandre Carrier. “I didn’t like this moment at all. I think he acted wildly. This is obvious to me,” the coach said.

The Russian forward hit his opponent in the head with his shoulder in the first period of the match. Carrier was unable to continue the match, and Kaprizov was given a two-minute penalty for attacking a player not in possession of the puck.

The match ended with the defeat of Nashville with a score of 6:1. Kaprizov scored a goal and an assist.
