Clubs and players sign the agreement on the content of the new collective agreement of the LF Endesa

The Association of Endesa Women’s League Clubs and the Basketball Players Association signed this Thursday at the Higher Sports Council (CSD), the agreement on the content of the collective agreement of the Endesa Women’s League.
The general framework sought to guarantee a minimum salary to all the players throughout the duration of the competition. It is agreed and they are 16,000 euros gross this season, as announced by Carmen Muguruza, president of the Association of Clubs.
“With this signature we take a clear step towards improving the working conditions of athletes. There are still steps to take in this subject and we will be working there,” said Pilar Alegría, Minister of Education, Vocational Training and Sports, who pointed out that “sport defines Spain as a country and represents effort and camaraderie.”
