Bolivarian Sports Organization will meet in Guayaquil, where the cities that aspire to organize the competition of the Olympic cycle will be known.
The president of the Ecuadorian Olympic Committee (COE), Jorge Delgado Panchana, affirmed that together with the Mayor’s Office of Guayaquil they will propose Guayaquil as host of the XX Bolivarian Games 2025 at the next General Assembly of the Bolivarian Sports Organization (Odebo), which will be held in the Main Port on December 16.
Delgado explained the application submission process. “It is working. In the next few days the full committee of the Odebo, where the dossier of the candidacy for the Bolivarian Games to be held ”will be presented.

There are two aspiring cities to organize the 2025 Bolivarian Games. In addition to Guayaquil, the Mayor’s Office of Ayacucho announced that it will also nominate that Peruvian city.
Odebo will select the headquarters and then designate a Monitoring Commission for the census of scenarios and other advances for the sports fair, which will happen to the Games that will be held in Valledupar next year, in the north of Colombia.
“Odebo will make inspections with respect to the city, will determine what it has, what it lacks and what can be sustained. Based on that, it is resolved in which sports to compete, giving priority to the Olympic sports, because they are games of the cycle ”, explained Delgado.
“We will be vigilant of the sports that Odebo is going to put to compete and we will always be weighing our athletes with specialties that may not be Olympic, but that are highly representative or that may be exhibition,” explained Delgado.
