Fans of the Moscow “Spartak” asked the owner of the club Leonid Fedun with a request to leave the Portuguese Ruy Vitoria as the head coach of the team. The petition is available on the Change.org website.
Red-and-white fans fear that the club’s management intends to change the team’s head coach. They drew attention to the appearance of publications in the media about the upcoming signing of a contract with the Italian specialist Paolo Vanoli.
The text of the petition notes that Vitoria will be able to solve the tasks assigned to him. Under the guidance of a specialist, the red and white managed to complete the group stage of the Europa League in first place. In addition, fans still believe that Spartak, together with Vitoria, will compete for medals in the Russian Championship.
Vitoria joined Spartak in May 2021. The contract of a specialist with the club is valid until the summer of 2023.
