Russian Karasev will officiate the match between Saudi Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr
Russian referee Sergei Karasev was appointed to the Saudi Arabian championship match. This was reported by the First Sport Telegram channel with reference to Al-Jazeera.
According to the source, Karasev will officiate the match between Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr. The meeting will take place on December 1 in Riyadh. Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr occupy first and second places in the national championship standings, respectively.
For Al-Hilal, ex-forward of St. Petersburg Zenit Malcolm and Senegalese striker Kalidou Koulibaly take part in the matches. Al-Nasr are represented by the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo and the Senegalese Sadio Mane.
The Union of European Football Associations did not suspend Russian referees and other officials from work. At the same time, since the beginning of the special operation, referees have not officiated at international matches, which was explained by logistics problems.
