The meeting ended with a score of 8:2 in favor of Tampa. The Russian scored two goals and made four assists. For him, this match was the best in his overseas career; he had never scored six points in one match before. Kucherov had four games with five points for performance.

Kucherov leads the NHL sniper race with 15 goals. He also ranks first in the league’s leading scorers with 35 points.

Kucherov has been playing for Tampa since 2013. He won the Stanley Cup with the team in 2020 and 2021. He has reached the 100-point mark in a season three times in his career: 2018, 2019 and 2023.
