Trusova complained about the too large list of books on Russian literature at Moscow State University
Russian figure skater Alexandra Trusova, in an interview with Evgenia Medvedeva’s YouTube channel, complained about studying at the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University.
The athlete stated that she received a list of books on Russian literature at Moscow State University that needed to be read in six months, and called it very large. “I have never been able to read the list at once. I looked and thought: mmm. Books that I like, if I’m immersed, I’ll read, but it’s difficult for me to start,” she said.
On August 30, it became known that Trusova would miss the 2023/24 season. Among the reasons why she made this decision was the lack of international starts and, as a result, motivation, as well as controversial judging at domestic tournaments, health and employment in the show.
Trusova is a silver medalist at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing. At the tournament, she set a historic milestone by landing five quadruple jumps in her free program. The figure skater also won bronze at the World Championships and two bronze medals at the European Championships. She has not competed since November 2022.
