The Vizcaya Alex Txikon will try again this winter the ascent to Manaslu (8,163 meters), the eighth highest summit on the planet, in an expedition in which he will also repeat as teammates with the Italian Simone Moro and to the Guipuzcoan Iñaki Álvarez.
Sajid Sadpar and a couple of the Sherpas who often go with him on his winter Himalayan adventures round out the team.
The Basque mountaineer, who has just celebrated his 40th birthday, is 20 years old since his first ascent and has stated that he is “very excited” about this new challenge.
The weather conditions will once again be key in the future of this new expedition.
