Russian forward Kirill Kaprizov was accused of Minnesota’s defeats
The Minnesota Wild club of the National Hockey League (NHL) blamed Russian forward Kirill Kaprizov for the team’s defeats. Journalist Chris Johnston told TSN about this.
Johnston said that the failures were not the fault of head coach Dean Evason, but of the team’s leaders, including Kaprizov. It is noted that this season Kaprizov has scored only five goals in 17 matches. The team expects that success will be achieved through the efforts of the athletes and without changes in the leadership team.
Previously, Minnesota general manager Bill Guerin said that the play of Kaprizov and Matt Boldy was concerning. He emphasized that both hockey players have problems with confidence.
Minnesota has 14 points from 17 games and is in 13th place in the Western Conference table. The team has lost its last five matches in a row.
