Ukrainian gymnast Vlada Nikolchenko admitted to hatred of Poland and Poles

Ukrainian gymnast Vlada Nikolchenko admitted to hatred of Poland and the Poles. A screenshot of her post was published by former Secretary General of the Polish Gymnastics Association Piotr Dec on Facebook (a social network banned in the Russian Federation; owned by the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and is prohibited).

“They ruined my mood in the morning. I hate this country with all my heart, and most of all, the people living here,” said the 20-year-old athlete. She emphasized that she ended up in Poland only because the airport in Ukraine was closed.

Dec expressed hope that the Ukrainian woman would never visit the country again. It is noted that the vice-president of the Ukrainian Gymnastics Federation, Irina Blokhina, apologized for the athlete’s statement. “We are shocked and speechless at this situation,” she said.

Nikolchenko held a master class in Warsaw and took part in the “Warsaw Autumn” rhythmic gymnastics tournament. She is a bronze medalist at the 2019 World Championships.
