Alexey Berezutsky said that he did not watch how his brother called for leaving Russia
Former footballer of the Russian national team and CSKA Moscow Alexey Berezutsky responded to his brother Vasily’s call for athletes to leave the country. His words are quoted by Bookmakers Rating.
The ex-athlete said that he does not watch TV or YouTube, so he did not see his brother’s interview with journalist Nobel Arustamyan. “Why do I need this? I’ve already seen everything in my life,” he emphasized.
On November 14, Vasily Berezutsky called on Russian athletes to leave the country. He stated that if athletes want to achieve something at a high level, they should try themselves abroad.
As a player, Alexey Berezutsky played 341 matches for the Army team and scored eight goals. Together with the team, he won the Russian Championship six times, won the National Cup seven times and won the UEFA Cup in 2005.
