Real Madrid blamed FIFA and UEFA for player injuries due to tight calendar
The management of Real Madrid was outraged by the busy calendar of international games. Journalist Javier Birlanga reports this on the social network X.
The Spanish club is unhappy with the number of injuries suffered by players during the international break. Real Madrid blamed the International Football Federation (FIFA), the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), La Liga and the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).
During the international break, the Madrid club lost two players: striker Vinicius Junior is out until February, and midfielder Eduardo Camavinga will miss about ten weeks. A total of eight players are on the injured list.
Qualifying tournaments for Euro 2024 and the 2026 World Cup are currently underway.
