Kamil Stoch did not participate in the qualification for the Sunday competition. During the day, the Polish Ski Association informed that our jumper will not start that day in Klingenthal for health reasons. More specifically, it was about the big problems with the sinuses.
In the absence of Stoch, three Poles participated in the qualification: Paweł Wąsek, Aleksander Zniszczoł and Piotr ya. And all three of them advanced to the main competition. Wąsek jumped 120.5 meters, which gave him 41st place. Destroyer flew 123.5 meters and was 38. Żyła jumped 130.5 meters, he was 17th and would be the only one to qualify for the second competition series.
The qualification was won by Ryoyu Kobayashi who jumped 137 meters. Killian Peier flew two meters shorter, and Karl Geiger came third. The main competition starts at 4:00 p.m. Report on Sport.pl.
