Porto wins and resumes Portuguese leadership

Porto regained the leadership of the Portuguese Championship this Sunday. After being overtaken by Sporting at the beginning of the 14th round, Dragão received Braga and won 1-0, returning to the top of the table.

The goal of the match came 22 minutes into the first half. The Colombian Luis Díaz received the ball in the back of the marker and gave a touch over the goalkeeper to open the scoring and forward the victory of Porto.

Playing at Estádio do Dragão, the home team managed the result and took the victory, maintaining the lead on the scoreboard.

With the result, Porto takes the lead in the Portuguese Championship, tied on points with Sporting, but ahead by the goal difference criterion. Braga is in fourth position, with 25 points added.

Porto will return to the field next Sunday, at 4 pm (GMT), to face Vizela, away from home. Braga, on the other hand, returns to the pitch on the same day, but at 6 pm (GMT), when they face Belenenses B-SAD.
