Boxer Tyson Fury said he was paid about 50 million for the fight with Ngannou
British boxer Tyson Fury has revealed the amount of his fee for the fight with ex-champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Francis Ngannou. The athlete’s words are available on Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions YouTube channel.
“I just got paid about 50 million. I’m thinking about buying an expensive yacht, plane or real estate,” Fury said, without specifying in what currency he received the money.
On October 28, Fury defeated Ngannou in a heavyweight boxing bout in Saudi Arabia. The fight lasted all ten rounds, following which the judges gave the victory to the Briton by split decision.
Ngannou has 17 wins and three losses in mixed martial arts throughout his career. He held the UFC heavyweight championship belt.
Fury has 34 wins, one draw and no losses. He holds the World Boxing Council heavyweight championship belt.
