Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev lost to Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in the third match of the group stage of the Final Tournament of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) in Turin, Italy. The results are available on the organization’s website.
The meeting ended with a score of 6:4, 6:4 in favor of the second racket of the world. Thus, Alcaraz became the leader of the group, and Medvedev took second place. The Russian will play with Italian Jannik Sinner.
The tournament will last until November 19. According to the results of the draw, German representative Alexander Zverev and Russian Andrei Rublev were placed in the same group with Medvedev and Alcaraz. The German and the Russian failed to qualify for the semi-finals.
