Artem Dzyuba and Sergei Pinyaev ridiculed the news about the fight
Lokomotiv forward Artem Dzyuba and the club’s midfielder Sergei Pinyaev responded to information that they had started a fight. Athletes ridiculed this news on Instagram (the social network is banned in the Russian Federation; it belongs to the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in Russia and is banned).
Pinyaev published a video of blogger Khasbulla Magomedov beating former basketball player Shaquille O’Neal. Dzyuba posted a similar video with Kexal Baba on his page, accompanied by the caption “video leaked.”
Earlier on November 14, journalist Ivan Karpov said in his Telegram channel that Dzyuba and Pinyaev had a fight after the match between Lokomotiv and Spartak in the Russian Premier League (RPL). The meeting ended with the score 1:1. Karpov noted that the team’s general director, Vladimir Leonchenko, found out about the players’ conflict and was extremely indignant.
Dzyuba moved to Lokomotiv on February 8. This season he has played seven matches in all competitions, scoring two goals and two assists. 19-year-old Pinyaev has been playing for the team since 2023.
