Champions Round of 16 may have Messi against Cristiano Ronaldo; see drawing rules

The draw for the round of 16 of the Champions League will be held this Monday, at 8 am (GMT). In the first knockout phase, there may be duels between great players, such as Lionel Messi against Cristiano Ronaldo.

The teams that qualified first in the group stage will face the teams that passed second. The club that finished the first phase as the leader will decide the game at home.

However, the draw has blocks. Teams from the same country cannot face each other in the round of 16 and there will also be no duels between teams that played in the same group.

With that, teams candidates for the title can have tough confrontations in the next phase of Champions. It is the case of PSG e Chelsea, which passed in second.

What Manchester City, Liverpool e Manchester United ranked first, the Blues they only have four possible opponents. They are: Ajax, Real Madrid, Bayern and Liile. The current champion of the tournament does not face Juventus, as they both attended group H.

The Parisian team only has two blocks: Manchester City, opponent in the group stage, and Lille, who is also French. With that, it is certain that the team of the MNM trio will face a club that is already champion of the League.
