Artemi Panarin set two records for longest scoring streak in the NHL
New York Rangers forward Artemi Panarin repeated the record for the longest scoring streak in the National Hockey League (NHL) among Russians. This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.
On November 12, in the Columbus Blue Jackets match, Panarin gave two assists. He has scored points in all 14 NHL regular season games since the start of the 2023/2024 season. In total, he has 24 points according to the “goal plus pass” system.
Thus, Panarin repeated the club record for the longest scoring streak. In the 1972/1973 season, Rodo Gilbert had a similar figure. In addition, the forward equaled the record holder for this indicator among Russian hockey players – Dmitry Kvartalnov, who scored points in 14 consecutive games in the 1992/1993 season, when he played for the Boston Bruins.
Previously, NHL Network included Panarin in the top 50 best active NHL players. The striker, who has been with Rangers since 2019, is 32nd on the list. His current contract with the team runs until 2026.
