Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev has become a co-owner of the M80 esports team. This was reported on the team’s page on the X social network.
“We are pleased to announce that world tennis star and current world number three has joined the M80 ownership group,” the statement said. It is noted that the Russian strengthens the team concept.
“I’m glad to join the team as a co-owner! I’ve been a fan of eSports for a long time and play a lot myself. I love this team and follow many players,” Medvedev said.
The M80 team is based in the USA and has rosters for Counter-Strike 2, Valorant, Rocket League and Rainbow Six Siege.
Previously, Medvedev topped one of the Forbes ratings. The 27-year-old tennis player became the leader in the rating of personal brands among Russian athletes.
