Tennis players Medvedev and Rublev will play in the same group at the ATP Final Tournament
Russian tennis players Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev will play in the same group at the Final Tournament of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). This is reported on the organization’s website.
According to the results of the draw, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz and German representative Alexander Zverev were placed in the same group with Russian athletes. The other group included Serbian Novak Djokovic, Italian Jannik Sinner, Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas and Danish Holger Rune.
The tournament will take place in Turin, Italy from November 12 to 19. The two best tennis players from each group will advance to the semi-finals.
On November 9, it became known that Medvedev topped the Forbes personal brands ranking among Russian athletes.
Medvedev became the winner of the Grand Slam tournament in 2021. Then he defeated Djokovic at the US Open. He has 20 victories in ATP tournaments. Rublev has 18 victories in ATP tournaments.
