Almost 30,000 athletes They face this year the traditional 20 kilometers of the Behobia-San Sebastian in its 58th edition. A test with a growing female presence, which already reaches 29% of the total participants.

The start of the test will be staggered, dividing the runners into 19 groups and giving each one a different time to start the route. He first group will leave at 09:55and later the others will follow.

These are all the details of the test route:

Kilometer 1: Exit line next to the Bidasoa River, completely flat. In the last part the climb towards Irun begins.

Kilometer 2: Climb with little slope towards the center of the city.

Kilometer 3: The slope becomes harder as we move away from the center to reach Ventas de Irun, an area of ​​small slides.

Kilometer 4: After passing through the Arretxe hill at kilometer 3.4 (a slight descent), we leave Irun behind.

Kilometer 5: Downhill. Good time to recover a little, before facing the climb to Gaintxurizketa.

Kilometer 6: Beginning of the climb to the top of Gaintxurizketa. A steep but short slope to access the two-lane road on your left.

Kilometer 7: Main part of the climb to Gaintxurizketa. A slope of 2 kilometers at 3% average gradient.

Kilometer 8: A few meters to reach the top of Gaintxurizketa and the long descent towards Errenteria begins.

Kilometer 9: Main part of the descent at 3% average slope.

Kilometer 10: The descent continues and passes through the commercial area of ​​Lintzirin, where the halfway point of the race is reached.

Kilometer 11: Entrance to the outer neighborhoods of Errenteria still going downhill. The flattest area of ​​the entire route begins (2 kilometers).

Kilometer 12: Completely flat, reaching the Errenteria avenue.

Kilometer 13: After crossing the entire center of Errenteria, in the last part you face the Capuchinos climb: a short, but serious ramp (450 meters at 5% average gradient).

Kilometer 14: Last -and very hard- meters of Capuchinos and descent towards Pasaia.

Kilometer 15: Short climb and descent from Buenavista (entrance to San Sebastián).

Kilometer 16: Approach to the rise of the Miracruz hill through the Herrera neighborhood. One kilometer to prepare for the ascent.

Kilometer 17: Climb to the top of Miracruz (1.5 kilometers at 3% average slope). At the end of this kilometer a straight descent begins along Avenida de Ategorrieta: We see the center of the city in the distance.

Kilometer 18: Long descent towards the Gros neighborhood.

Kilometer 19: Navarra Avenue, slightly uphill. Straight route towards Zurriola beach.

Kilometer 20: Final stretch of the test along Avenida de la Zurriola. Kursaal Congress Palace, Kursaal Bridge and Alameda del Boulevard and arrival at the finish line.
