Euskaraz irakurri: Sestaok Gimnastica Segoviana gainditu du luzapenean (3-4)
He Sestao River Club entered the second round of the Copa del Rey soccer match this Wednesday by defeating Gimnástica Segoviana 3-4, which, despite playing at a disadvantage from the 55th minute, forced the extension of a match that was postponed on November 2 due to the strong wind.
The Biscayan team came back from the initial goal of Juan Silva (min. 12) at the Municipal Stadium of La Albuera with goals from Leandro Martínez (38), Jon Cabo (52) and Alvaro Gete (74) against a Gimnástica that played with ten from the 55th minute due to the expulsion of Juan de la Mata.
When the game seemed doomed and with Sestao River classified, in the final stretch the Segovian team sent the duel to extra time with two goals in the extension time of Daniel Segovia (93+) and Pedro Astray (97+).
In extra time, Sestao took the lead again thanks to the second goal from Jon Cabo (97) to seal his team’s pass to the next round against a Segoviana team that died on the shore.
