Sergei Lesin, the father of Russian football player Alexei Lesin, who was found dead on the beach in Sochi, spoke about what happened. His words are quoted by Sport Express.
Lesin Sr. stated that, according to the results of the examination, the son died of asphyxia. He said that until three o’clock his son was in the karaoke bar with the team. Then the football player was not allowed into another bar, and he went alone to have fun.
Then, at about five o’clock in the morning, the athlete went towards the sea. “Maybe I wanted to walk. He was found at about eight o’clock. There is even a video: he is lying on the shore. Maybe he washed ashore,” added the father of the deceased.
The death of 30-year-old Lesin became known earlier on November 8. At the same time, it was reported that a few hours before his death, the football player and his team went to an Adler bar, where he was not allowed in wearing shorts.
Over the years, Lesin played for the football teams Krylya, Cheboksary, Khimik-August, LAVA and Bomik.
