Mike Tyson said Tyson Fury will beat Oleksandr Usyk
Former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson named the favorite for the fight between Ukrainian Alexander Usik and Briton Tyson Fury. His words are quoted by the TNT Sports YouTube channel.
“Tyson will beat Usik. That’s for sure, yes!” – said the ex-champion.
On October 29, promoter Frank Warren announced that the fight with Usyk would be postponed to 2024 because Fury would not be ready to enter the ring in December 2023. A day earlier, the Briton turned out to be stronger than former champion of the Absolute Fighting Championship Francis Ngannou in a fight according to boxing rules.
Usik has 21 victories in 21 fights. He holds the World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF), International Boxing Organization (IBO) and WBA Super heavyweight championship belts.
Fury has 33 wins, one draw and no losses. He holds the World Boxing Council heavyweight championship belt.
