“The protective action initiated before the judicial unit of Montecristi against the resolution disqualifying Rafael Verduga’s list has been rejected,” said Carlos Luis Sánchez Gaete, the lawyer who represented the legal action initiated by the aforementioned partner.
“The judge concluded that there was no violation of rights by the Electoral Court of Barcelona SC and lifted the precautionary measure,” he added.
Thus, before the Canarian Electoral Court, he must officially announce what happened to Verduga’s candidacy, and since it is the only qualified list, Antonio Alvarez would be the virtual president of the yellows. (D)
