During the 2023 season the Association of Trainers Clubs through its anti-doping body it has carried out 105 controls to the clubs participating in the Liga Eusko Label, in the Euskotren Liga and in the Play-Off of both competitions, with 46 samples collected in competition and 59 out of competition.
All the analyzes of the samples have been carried out by the Doping Control laboratory of the IMIM of Barcelona, a center approved by the World Anti-Doping Agency (AMA-WADA) and its results have reflected the absence of any substance or method prohibited to Exception for an Adverse Analytical Report due to the appearance of Benzoylecgonine (cocaine metabolite) in a sample collected in competition, which was transferred to the Disciplinary Judge.
The ACT has highlighted the coordination carried out with the Basque Anti-Doping Agency without diminishing the actions that, within the framework of its powers, it had programmed, also adding its participation as a sample collection body in order to promote the fight against doping in our discipline.
