Evgenia Medvedeva said that her earnings come from ice shows
Russian figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva spoke about her earnings in an interview with Lenta.ru.
“My income comes from ice shows, of which there are a lot. We skated 30 times in Sochi, now with “Carmen” we are doing a small tour from two cities in Russia. There are ice performances and ice Christmas trees. Plus my advertising contracts,” Medvedeva said.

The figure skater admitted that her media presence brings her more than during her sports career. “I invest a lot of time and effort in this area. In sports, the emphasis was still on competition, so during figure skating I refused many projects in favor of the result. It was more important for me to win the World Championship than to sign a contract for several million with some large company. There were other priorities,” she noted.
On October 20, Medvedeva answered a question about sex before the competition. She said she had no way to test how sex affected performances. “All my conscious life I have had either a woman or a man who does not prefer women. And accreditation was given only to the athlete and the coach,” she explained.
Medvedeva is a two-time world and European champion. At the 2018 Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, the figure skater won two silver medals – in team and individual competitions. At the moment, she has completed her career and runs her own YouTube channel.
