26-year-old Verstappen updated the record for the number of Grand Prix won in one year, set at the end of October at competitions in Mexico. The victory in Brazil was the 52nd for the Dutchman during his time in Formula 1.

Verstappen is a two-time Formula 1 champion. He won in the 2021 and 2022 seasons. This season, the athlete also became a champion ahead of schedule.
