CSKA defeated Nizhny Novgorod with a score of 3:2 in the RPL match
CSKA Moscow snatched victory from Paris Nizhny Novgorod in the match of the 14th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.
The meeting took place in Moscow at the VEB Arena stadium and ended with a score of 3:2 in favor of the hosts. In the 33rd minute, Nizhny Novgorod’s defender Dmitry Stotsky took the lead. Four minutes later, striker Fedor Chalov equalized the score. In the 40th minute, defender Viktor Alexandrov scored for the visitors.
In the second half, in the 71st minute, defender Ibrokhimkhalil Yuldoshev scored an own goal. Two minutes later, midfielder Victor Davila put the army team ahead.
Thus, after 14 matches, CSKA ranks third in the standings with 24 points. Nizhny Novgorod is in sixth place with 20 points. Krasnodar is in the lead with 31 points.
In the next match, CSKA will play away against Fakel Voronezh on November 11. Nizhny Novgorod will host Baltika Kaliningrad a day later.
