Manager Rizvan Magomedov revealed the details of the next fight of the Russian fighter of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Magomed Ankalaev. His words are quoted by TASS.
“A new fight will be announced this week. It will take place at the end of this year or the beginning of next year,” Magomedov said. Ankalaev will fight with Brazilian Johny Walker.
On October 21, Ankalaev and Walker fought for the first time. The fight took place at the UFC 294 tournament in Abu Dhabi (UAE). Ankalaev hit his opponent with his knee in the head and the referee stopped the fight. After examination by doctors, it was determined that Walker would not be able to continue the confrontation. The fight was declared invalid.
Before the fight with Walker, the 31-year-old native of Dagestan had 17 victories and suffered one defeat. Another fight with his participation ended in a draw. In addition to the fight with the Russian, the Brazilian has 20 wins and seven losses.
