Sergei Pavlovich turned to Tom Aspinall before his UFC fight

Russian fighter of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Sergei Pavlovich turned to Briton Tom Aspinall before the fight as part of the promotion. The athlete spoke out on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

Pavlovich published a video from a training session, during which he practiced punches alone in the gym. “Your image is before my eyes. See you in New York,” he captioned the video.

Pavlovich and Aspinall will fight on November 12 at UFC 295, which will take place in New York. In this fight, they will fight for the interim UFC heavyweight championship. On September 3, the Briton said that he and the Russian were supposed to fight twice already, but both times the fights were disrupted.

On April 23, Pavlovich won his sixth victory in a row in the UFC, being stronger than the American Curtis Blaydes. The fight ended with a technical knockout in the first round.

The 31-year-old Pavlovich has 17 wins in 18 fights. The 30-year-old Aspinall has 13 wins and three losses.
