Fitness expert Pavel Kondratyev suggested replacing jogging with a boxing warm-up
Fitness expert, master of sports in boxing Pavel Kondratyev suggested a replacement for jogging. His words are quoted by Life.
Kondratyev advised doing a boxing warm-up instead of routine running. “In professional boxing, warm-up takes up almost half of the workout and lasts 50 minutes. You don’t need that much, but spend 15-20 minutes on it,” he suggested.
The specialist advises starting with regular jogging for five to seven minutes, and then moving on to exercises to train the vestibular system. He advised running with your back, running sideways with crossing steps, moving with side steps of two steps on one side with a turn and wide side steps. Each option is performed in one circle.
Kondratiev also recommended jumping rope. “A round is one, two or three minutes. Then try jumping faster or changing the pace,” he explained.
Earlier, coach Anastasia Yurkova named the best exercises for developing coordination. She suggested doing side bends while standing on one leg and a similar movement with emphasis on the knee.
