Usik’s promoter Krasyuk said that Fury is postponing the fight for fear of losing
Alexander Krasyuk, promoter of Ukrainian boxer Alexander Usik, commented on the desire of the British Tyson Fury to postpone the fight. The specialist’s words are quoted by the YouTube channel Boxing King Media.
Krasyuk said that Fury’s promoter Frank Warren reported concerns about the postponement of the fight even before Usyk’s fight with Frenchman Daniel Dubois. However, after this, the British team still signed a contract to meet with the Ukrainian on December 23. “Perhaps Warren does not want Tyson to get into the ring because he knows what the result awaits him. But on the other hand, what difference does it make if Fury loses? – said Krasyuk.
On October 29, Warren said that the fight with Usyk would be postponed because Fury would not be ready to enter the ring in December. A day earlier, the Briton turned out to be stronger than former champion of the Absolute Fighting Championship Francis Ngannou in a fight according to boxing rules.
