Former Zenit player Lovren said that nature in Russia is better than in France
Lyon defender Dejan Lovren, who previously played for Zenit St. Petersburg, spoke in an interview with Vladimir Kolos’ YouTube channel about the advantages of Russia over France.
“In Russia the nature is cooler, there is much more greenery. Better soups. This is one hundred percent. And a bathhouse! After Russia, I began to visit baths and saunas more,” said the ex-blue-white-blue player. He noted that France has better wine and baguette, as well as better weather.
Lovren played for Zenit from 2020 to 2023. Together with the St. Petersburg team, the football player became a two-time champion of Russia and a three-time winner of the country’s Super Cup. He played 63 matches for the team, scoring three goals and three assists.
At the 2022 World Championships in Qatar, Lovren became a bronze medalist as part of the Croatian national team. The defender took part in six matches, in which he scored one pass.
