Merited swimming coach of Russia Alexander Ilyin was fined three thousand rubles in punishment for disobeying police officers at the Pulkovo airport. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the united press service of the courts of St. Petersburg.
The Moscow District Court of St. Petersburg brought the coach to administrative responsibility for refusing to wear a mask. It is noted that Ilyin began to conflict with the police because of their demands to stop illegal actions and proceed to the duty unit. In this regard, physical force was used against him.
The court session against Ilyin was postponed three times. At first he refused to wear a mask and was removed from the hall. Then he went to the hospital.
Ilyin’s arrest became known on November 23. A video that appeared on the network showed how a specialist first argues with an airport employee, proving that he is not obliged to wear a mask. Then law enforcement officers approach him and try to convince him to reconsider their actions. After his refusal, law enforcement officers knocked the 63-year-old coach to the floor, tied him up and handcuffed him.
