The Basauri Team shines at the World Cross Country Championships

The Basauri Team athletes have shone at the World Cross Country Championships for people with intellectual disabilities that was held in the Polish city of Ciechanow.
Mikel García has achieved a gold medal in the short cross country event and another silver one in the long cross. Besides, In the team races Raúl Martínez and Ibai Magdaleno have won two golds. For its part, Ángela de Miguel has been sixth in the short cross and long cross events.
Likewise, the Basauri team returns home with the confirmation by Virtus Europe of the organization of the next European Cross Country Championships in Basauriwithin the program of activities of Basauri European City of Sports 2024.
