Details about fees between Fury and Usyk revealed

Promoter Arum said that Usik and Fury will not have an equal division of fees

The head of the promotion company Top Rank, Bob Arum, in an interview with the YouTube channel Fight Hub TV, revealed details of the contracts of British boxer Tyson Fury and Ukrainian Alexander Usik.

Arum said there would be no equal division of fees. He emphasized that Saudi Prince Turki al-Faisal personally negotiated the fee for Usik and payments for Fury. “Guys are not stupid. They didn’t bother to see how much their opponent would earn. Why? Because they don’t care,” the promoter added.

On September 29, ESPN reported that Fury and Usyk signed a contract to fight for the title of absolute world champion. According to the publication, the boxing match could take place on December 23, 2023 or January 2024.

Usik has 21 victories in 21 fights. He holds the World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF), International Boxing Organization (IBO) and WBA Super heavyweight championship belts.

Fury has 33 wins, one draw and no losses. He holds the World Boxing Council heavyweight championship belt.
