Tennis player Erika Andreeva said that there are no serious problems with obtaining visas
Russian tennis player Erika Andreeva spoke about the difficulties in obtaining visas. Her words are quoted by Match TV.
The athlete stated that there were no serious problems with the documents. “Recently, this process has taken longer, especially when it comes to England. Otherwise, no problems, everything is fine,” she noted.
Earlier on July 22, Russian tennis player Anastasia Potapova announced that she would miss the WTA-250 tournament in Germany due to visa problems. “My team and I submitted the documents on time, but unfortunately the review was delayed,” she added.
The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) and the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) did not suspend Russians from competitions. Athletes continue to compete at tournaments in a neutral status.
