Arakistain and Lizardi, winners of the Elite Championship

Ihart Arakistain and Eneritz Lizardi have won the 2023 Euskal Herria Elite Championship of tip basket after defeat Erika Mugartegi and Arai Lejardi in the final by 0-2.
In the first set of the grand final the Arakistain-Lizardi couple won 9-15. However, the second has been more equal. Mugartegi and Lejardi have put more pressure on their rivalsbut Arakistain and Lizardi have won with a result of 13-15. As a consequence, Arakistain and Lizardi have put on their txapelas.
The match for third place has also been played. The Ortiz de Mendivil-Aldazabal couple finished the championship in third positionafter beat Barrenetxea and Watkins (0-2). In the first set, Ortiz de Mendivil and Aldazabal won with a result of 15-6, while in the second they won 15-14.
